Awesome chance to have someone look over your work who doesn't fit into one of the below categories and therefore have a "favored view" towards you.
A. owes you money
B. gave birth to you or you painstakingly LOVINGLY gave birth TO.
C. is married/partnered/buying the groceries co-habitating with you
D. is your parole officer (really, mine is ALWAYS asking for something) ;)
Happy Writing
Lisa
Thanks for stopping by my blog! Love the background - I'm a Shabby lover, too!
ReplyDeleteHAHA parole officer?? :-D (Maybe I shouldn't joke?)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to check it out. Thanks!
Alexia,
ReplyDeleteI just found shabby yesterday and fell in love. Of course I'll probably change my background like I change my hair. Every week. Ha. Hope to see you around both here and at your blog.
Rane,
MuuHaaaaaHaaa (gleefully rubs black talon tipped fingers together) A lady has to have some secrets. But for any possible future agents skimming my blog. I do NOT nor have I EVER had a parole officer.
FULL DISCLOSURE: Do not let my obvious failure at procurring said parole officer smear my reputation. Having a reason for AND obtaining a parole officer remains #97 on my bucket list.
Thanks for the shout out! It's always fun to find new writing friends :)
ReplyDeleteYour very welcome. Yes it is wonderful for new friends and writers/readers/agents/editors to network. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea. My mom is begging to read some of my novels. I tell her once I secure an agent, I'll send some along.
ReplyDelete~ Wendy
Wendy,
