Crusader Challenge #1

For this challenge I thought I'd try to make it different cuz that's how I roll. ;) I thought about a personal ad but since I'd get so many responses I thought I'd skip that. *wink * hehe Then I thought about an epitaph and realized how cool it would be if we all got to write our own. So here is my entry. Enjoy and please go check out the other entrants.

"My Epitaph"
Here Lies L.A. Colvin,
Reader, Writer, Chocolate Hider,

  1. Well that was a different approach indeed! As far as the "lie" you've really masked it. I don't know--do you really speak three languages?

  2. Oooh, very good.

No idea about your lie, but I’ll guess you don’t stalk plastic flamingos (although I can’t think why)

  5. This epitaph is a cool, original approach!
As for the fib, could it be the rabbit foot collection?

  6. Hehe, this was awesome! The plastic flamingo stalker part made me laugh. :D I'd have to say that you don't have double jointed thumbs.

I'm going with thumbs as the lie.

  11. I don't know which line I prefer, "She Fell Flat On Her ..Ask" or "Plastic Flamingo Stalker." Great entry. I can't wait to write my own.

  12. I like this, it's really different.
I'm going to guess - rabbits foot collection?

  13. I would guess the rabbit foot collection, OR the fact that you're not actually dead. :P

  14. I don't think you speak three languages - it's either more or less :) Thanks for the comment on my blog, by the way :)

  15. Definitely one of the best - compact, well crafted, clever, love it! Hmm. The lie? I think you don't really stalk plastic flamingos.

  17. Really original take on the challenge and cool the way you listed those of us in your Crusader group. Why don't I think of original stuff like that. Green with envy over where, which is difficult for someone on my colour. I'm gonna guess that you never had a shark dish in your life.

  18. Isn't it bad karma to lie on your epitaph or something? Hi crusader! I'm clumsy but I don't believe you ever slipped on A blade of Grass. Have a nice day.

  19. Oh, your thumbs aren't double jointed?? Just a guess.

  20. What a clever approach - love it! I only wish I hadn't read your latest (reveal) post first . If I hadn't, I think I would have gone with the double jointed thumbs. But alas, I spoiled it for myself.

    Well done, you!

  22. I liked it! Would've never guessed your lie, though. :-)

  23. Super poem, you did well to get the word count so low. I wouldn't have guessed either.

  24. Hello fellow crusader! I am a tad bit late, so I just thought I would just say Hi! :D

  25. Very nice approach! I would have to guess you lie is that your thumbs are not double jointed, but I'm really not sure.

  26. Hee hee hee. You so didn't slip on a blade of grass.
