I'm Back ...Sort Of..

I did not fall off the edge of oblivion. All though it would be a really great start to a chapter. Falling into space.. Any who, I found myself around the letter S in the A-Z blogging challenge (it was awesome) and it was starting to freak me out. I was not where I wanted to be in my revision and I began to resent blogging. So I stopped. I'm now getting into a groove with revision and think I can handle some posts here and there. More importantly I need to get back to reading up on your posts. I hope to be hopping around to all of you soon. I've missed you and am happy (although tentatively) glad to be back. See ya soon.

  3. Welcome back! And yes, it should be fun.
I'm trying to juggle both. Adding a vacation soon to the mix. That might complicate things a bit...

  4. I know the feeling. Somehow I've managed to hang on to blogging through it all but I often wonder how!

  5. When it comes down to it, your writing is the most important. I felt overwhelmed a while back trying to juggle my writing and blogging. I almost gave up entirely, but decided trying to write everyday was ridiculous. So, I chose three days out of the week to post, one of them devoted to showcasing published writing I enjoy (e.g., poems, novel excerpts, quotes).

It's good to have you back and look forward to hearing about your revision experiences.

  9. Welcome back! I've been away from blogging for awhile too: Too busy with writing and other projects. But I missed it too. It's really nice getting around the blogosphere and catching up with news. (Although, I'm glad I put the writing first, because I did get a lot done!)

  10. It's hard to juggle writing with blogging. After the A to Z I actually went to 2x per week so I wouldn't get overwhelmed (well, MORE overwhelmed, anyway). I hope you can balance the two and get in tons of writing!

If you get a chance, check out a fellow writer's zombie story and help me make him wear an embarrassing shirt next year! It's the ultimate grudge match between social media and the zombies. Details are here:
